WARNING! Investigation of ARTHUR MEUNIER, ARTHUR BREITMAN and TEZOS

Arthur Meunier aka Arthur Breitman, formerly with Morgan Stanley, Suspended Two Years from Securities Industry Regarding Blockchain Technology Tezos

Have you lost money with financial advisor Arthur Meunier (also known as Arthur Breitman) of New York, New York?  We are investigating allegations made by FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, against Arthur Meunier. FINRA suspended Meunier from the securities industry for two years and fined him $20,000.  FINRA was investigating Meunier regarding allegations that may have engaged in an undisclosed outside business activity.

In particular, FINRA alleged that Meunier or Breitman was involved with developing blockchain technology called Tezos.  Meunier was alleged to have started up Tezos and solicited investors to invest in it.  Meunier/Breitman was also alleged to have used a pseudonym “L.M. Goodman” to promote Tezos.  FINRA also alleged that Meunier used exaggerated and misleading representations to promote Tezos.  FINRA alleged that Meunier improperly compared Tezos to other companies like Ethereum and Ripple, even though Tezos was still developing its technology and had no revenue.

Arthur Meunier was a financial advisor and registered representative of Morgan Stanley from September 2013 to April 2016.  He worked at a branch office in New York City.

Brokerage firms like Morgan Stanley have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
