]]> GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA Have you lost money with financial advisor Roderick Whited, formerly with Northwestern Mutual in Gainesville, Florida? We are looking into allegations made against Roderick Whited. Whited was barred from the securities industry by FINRA after he was alleged to have misappropriated funds from a charitable event that he organized. White has since repaid some of the money back to the charity.

Roderick Whited was with Northwestern Mutual from 1996 to February 2020. He has worked at branch offices in Gainesville, Florida. Whited was also the subject of one customer complaint, and he was also allowed to resign by Northwestern Mutual.

Brokerage firms like Northwestern Mutual have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.
