Did you lose money with financial advisor Clarice Saw, formerly with Cetera Investment Services in Flushing, New York? Saw was recently charged with fraud by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

According to the SEC press release, Clarice Saw had misappropriated $2.4 million from one of her customers between December 2021 and March 2022 while she was affiliated with Cetera Investment Services. She allegedly liquidated the elderly customer’s securities, transferred the money to her own accounts, and used the money to pay for personal expenses, including car and mortgage payments.

Clarice Chin Saw had been an affiliate of Cetera Investment Services from September 2021 to June 2022. She had also been with Citigroup, and was licensed through Coastal Equities from October 2022 to July 2023.
