In particular, the customer alleges that Dalmore Group failed to prevent one or more criminals from accessing its email system. Money was wired from a customer’s account to a third party, and the third party was alleged to have stolen the money via a fraudulent account in an alleged EB-5 investment. The customer alleges losses of $850,000 related to this cybersecurity failure.
