Have you lost money investing with Donavan Kelly of Independent Financial Group? The investment fraud law firm of Israels & Neuman is looking into allegations made against Kelly from Billings, Montana. He was under investigation by FINRA, which is responsible for regulating the securities industry.

Donovan Kelly allegedly recommended that 19 investors purchase promissory notes in an oil and gas drilling company. He allegedly did not receive compensation for recommending the oil and gas drilling company investments. To settle these allegations, he agreed to a seven-month suspension and a fine of $10,000.

Donovan Kelly worked in Billings, Montana. He has been affiliated with Independent Financial Group January 2012 to the present. He also operated DTK Financial Services and Kelly Accounting.

Donovan Kelly had a duty to disclose the sale of the oil and gas investments to his brokerage firm, Independent Financial Group. Moreover, Independent Financial Group has a duty to reasonably supervise the activities of its advisors.
