MARIANNA, FLORIDA Are you a former client of Joe David Gainer in Marianna, Florida? He previously worked with Wells Fargo and has failed to respond to a FINRA investigation.

FINRA started looking into Gainer, who allegedly failed to disclose a position of trust in relation to receiving a $3 million gift from a Wells Fargo customer. He refused to cooperate with FINRA’s investigation which ultimately led to him being barred.

Joe David Gainer Jr. worked in Marianna, Florida and was licensed with Wells Fargo from November 2016 to June 2022. He had also been the subject of a 2020 customer complaint.

Stockbrokers must respond to FINRA’s investigation, or they will face punishment pursuant to FINRA’s rules. Likewise, Wells Fargo can be held responsible if it failed to sufficiently supervise Gainer’s conduct.
