FORT LAUDERDALE, FL

The investment fraud and securities arbitration law firm of Israels & Neuman is continuing to look into allegations made against financial advisor John Orlando, formerly with Westpark Capital and now with SW Financial in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Orlando has been the subject of six customer complaints, four of which were made within the last two years.

According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck, John Orlando is under investigation by FINRA relating to whether Orlando excessively traded or churned customer accounts, whether he made unsuitable investment recommendations, and whether he marked solicited transactions as unsolicited.

John Orlando was with Westpark Capital from August 2016 to September 2019. He has also been with SW Financial from November 2019 to the present and with Newport Coast from March 2015 to August 2016. He has worked at branch offices in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Westpark Capital and SW Financial have obligations to reasonably monitor the activities of their financial advisors. If the brokerage firm fails to do so, they could be responsible if they investor suffers financial losses.
