]]> LINCOLN, NEBRASKA Were you a client of financial advisor Michael Lancaster in Lincoln, Nebraska? Israels & Neuman is reviewing claims made by FINRA against this advisor, who had been an affiliate of Edward Jones from October 2018 to January 2024. In October of 2024, he was barred from the securities brokerage industry by FINRA when he refused to respond to FINRA’s investigation.

The investigation began after Edward Jones terminated Lancaster regarding allegations that he failed to adhere to the firm’s policies regarding a complaint about stocks. When Lancaster indicated to FINRA that he refused to cooperate with their investigation, he was barred.

Michael Ray Lancaster was registered with Edward Jones. He worked in Lincoln, Nebraska and also filed for bankruptcy in 2023.

Brokerage firms must reasonably supervise their financial advisors. If the firm fails to do so, they could be liable for investor losses.
