ARDSLEY, NEW YORK

The securities fraud and arbitration law firm of Israels & Neuman is looking into allegations made against former J.P. Morgan Securities financial advisor Michael Muratore from Ardsley, New York. Muratore was under a regulatory investigation by FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

FINRA alleged that Muratore forged a customer’s signature and initials on 18 documents in connection with the surrender of annuities, and for the customer to purchase a new variable annuity, without the customer’s consent or knowledge. He also falsified a document by changing the date on a document. Muratore also was named as a beneficiary of a TOD account without disclosing such to J.P. Morgan Securities. To settle these allegations, Muratore was suspended for two years and fined $25,000.

Michael Muratore worked in Ardsley, New York. He has been affiliated with J.P. Morgan Securities from September 2014 to May 2019. Muratore also worked with a few other firms like Financial Resources Group Investment Services and LPL Financial.
