Our securities arbitration law firm is looking into allegations made by customers of financial advisor Robert D’Agosta, with Berthel Fisher & Company. Robert D’Agosta, who worked in an offices in Center Valley and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, has been the subject of six customer complaints, two of which were filed since 2020. The most recent complaint alleges that D’Agosta sold unsuitable investments in private placements, non-traded REITs (real estate investment trusts), and BDCs (business development companies). The customer alleged $99,999 in damages.

Robert D’Agosta had been licensed with Berthel Fisher & Company from 2004 to July 2019. He has been with IBN Financial Services since August 2019 and operates offices in Center Valley and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. D’Agosta also was denied an insurance license in Wisconsin in 2019.

Berthel Fisher & Company and IBN Financial Services are securities brokerage firms and FINRA members. As member firms of FINRA, they have an obligation to follow FINRA rules, including FINRA Rule 2111 which requires suitable investment recommendations. They also must reasonably supervise their representatives pursuant to FINRA Rule 3110.
