PFS (Primerica Financial Services) terminated Hirata after he admitted to engaging in a private securities transaction.

FINRA Rules require that financial advisors disclose all securities or investment business to their brokerage firm. When an advisor fails to do so, they violate FINRA rules. FINRA barred Hirata from the securities industry after he failed to respond to their investigation regarding the same allegations.

Steven Hirata had been with PFS Investments and Primerica from 1984 to September 2021. He had been working in a Fresno, California office.
