Christian Evans, formerly with Morgan Stanley, Suspended by FINRA

DALLAS, TEXAS —  Have you lost money with financial advisor Christian M. Evans of Dallas, Texas?  We are looking into allegations made against Christian Evans.  FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, suspended Christian Evans from the securities industry for 3 months and fined him $5,000.  Evans was alleged to have engaged in an outside business activity without disclosing such to his former brokerage firm, Morgan Stanley.

Christian Evans was a representative of Morgan Stanley from January 2018 to September 2019.  He worked at a branch office in Dallas, Texas.

Brokerage firms like Morgan Stanley have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm.  Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies.  When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
