Francis Gendlek, formerly with TFS Securities, Barred from the Securities Industry
Have you lost money with financial advisor Francis Gendlek of East Brunswick, New Jersey? We are investigating allegations made by FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, against Francis Joseph Gendlek. FINRA barred Gendlek from the securities regarding numerous allegations. FINRA was investigating Gendlek for allegations that he made material misrepresentations to investors in a real estate company that he owned, PMP Enterprises.
FINRA alleged that Gendlek sold promissory notes to investors, and that Gendlek failed to disclose negative information about real estate projects in New Jersey and Tennessee. Gendlek was also alleged to have failed to disclose these sales to his brokerage firm, TFS Securities.
Francis Gendlek was a financial advisor and registered representative of TFS Securities from 2006 to January 2014, and with IFS Securities from January 2015 to July 2016. He worked at a branch office in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
Brokerage firms like TFS Securities have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies. When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
