Gabriel Block was barred from the securities industry by FINRA, after he failed to respond to their investigation.
Gabriel Block was a representative of National Securities Corp. from March 2014 to April 2016. He was also affiliated with Oppenheimer from 2008 to March 2014, and with First Standard Financial Company from March 2016 to March 2016. He worked at a branch office in Red Bank, New Jersey and lives in Rumson. Gabe Block has also been the subject of 12 customer complaints and four regulatory actions.
Brokerage firms like National Securities Corp. have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies. When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
