WARNING!  Impending Investigation – HECTOR MAY and SECURITIES AMERICA

Hector May, formerly with Securities America, Under Investigation by U.S. Department of Justice

 

Have you lost money investing through broker Hector May, formerly with Securities America?  Our firm is investigating whether Hector A. May from New City, New York misappropriated funds from customers.

 

According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck, Hector May was terminated by his former brokerage firm, Securities America, regarding allegations that he misappropriated customer funds.  Hector May is also the subject of an investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice regarding a “suspected felony”.

 

Hector May was a financial advisor with Securities America from 1994 to March 2018.  May worked in a branch office in New City, New York.    May also operated a company called Executive Compensation Planners, Inc.

 

Brokerage firms like Securities America have a duty to reasonably supervise brokers and financial advisors like Hector May.  If Securities America failed to do so, it could be liable for investor losses.
