UPDATE! Jack Howley, formerly with Park Avenue Securities, Barred from Securities Industry
Have you lost money with financial advisor John C. Howley also known as “Jack Howley” (CRD# 2229244) formerly of Park Avenue Securities? We are continuing to investigate allegations of former customers related to Jack C. Howley, who has worked in offices in Rumson, New Jersey. FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) also recently barred Howley from the securities industry, after he failed to respond to investigation. FINRA was investigating Howley regarding allegations that he engaged in private securities transactions without disclosing such to his former brokerage firm, Park Avenue Securities.
John C. Howley’s (Jack Howley) CRD report, a public record maintained by FINRA, states that Howley has been the subject of six customer complaints. Five of the customer complaints were filed since November 2018, alleging misrepresentations in connection with selling investments in Global Credit Recovery. The complaints allege that Global Credit Recovery was a fraudulent scheme and caused investor losses. Moreover, Jack Howley was fired by Park Avenue Securities after they discovered Howley’s involvement with Global Credit Recovery.
Jack Howley was a registered representative of Park Avenue Securities from 1999 to October 2018. He has worked at branch offices in Rumson, New Jersey.
Brokerage firms like Park Avenue Securities have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies. When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
