How to Recover Losses Associated with JEFFREY KINDER of HUNTLEIGH SECURITIES
Jeffrey Kinder, formerly of Huntleigh Securities, Suspended 15 Months from Securities Industry
Have you lost money with financial advisor Jeffrey Kinder of St. Louis, Missouri? We are investigating allegations made by FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, against Jeffrey Collins Kinder. FINRA suspended Kinder from the securities industry for 15 months and fined him $20,000 after he was alleged to have engaged in short-term trading of Unit Investment Trusts (or UITs) and Class A share mutual funds in five customer accounts.
UITs are not designed for short-term trading because of their commissions and costs of trading. Between January 2011 and February 2015, Jeffrey Kinder recommended on numerous occasions that his customers sell their UITs and then purchase new, different UITs, and he was alleged to have recommended a similar strategy with regard to Class A share mutual funds. FINRA alleged this to be unsuitable in view of the frequency and costs of trading, which FINRA alleged to be $98,000.
Jeffrey Kinder was a financial advisor and registered representative of Huntleigh Securities from 2002 to September 2014. He worked at branch offices in St. Louis, Missouri. Kinder was also terminated from Huntleigh Securities regarding allegations that he made unauthorized transactions in UITs.
