Timothy Beall from Eau Claire, Michigan Suspended From Securities Industry for Nine Months
Have you lost money with financial advisor Timothy Beall of Eau Claire, Michigan? We are investigating allegations made by FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), against Timothy J. Beall. FINRA suspended Timothy Beall from the securities industry for nine months and fined him $10,000, regarding allegations that he engaged in undisclosed private securities transactions without permission from his brokerage firm, National Planning Corp. FINRA alleged that Beall solicited two customers to invest $500,000 in promissory notes issued by a greenhouse building and leasing company in Colorado.
Timothy Beall was a financial advisor and registered representative of National Planning Corp. from July 2008 to April 2016. He worked at a branch office in Eau Claire, Michigan. He was also affiliated with Neuearth Renewable Energy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Brokerage firms like National Planning Corp. have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies. When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
