Tyrone Pang, formerly with NYLife Securities, Barred from the Securities Industry
Have you lost money with financial advisor Tyrone Pang of San Francisco, California? We are investigating allegations made by FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, against Tyrone Y. Pang. FINRA barred Pang from the securities industry after he failed to respond to a FINRA investigation. FINRA was investigating Pang after he was fired by his former brokerage firm, NY Life Securities, regarding allegations of improper use of customer insurance premium payments.
Tyrone Pang was a financial advisor and registered representative of NYLife Securities from August 2008 to June 2015. He worked at a branch office in San Francisco, California. Pang has also been the subject of one customer complaint, alleging that Pang mishandled premium payments.
Brokerage firms like NYLife Securities have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies. When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
