Gregg A. Beemer and Lincoln Investment

Beemer agreed to be barred from the securities industry after he failed to respond to a FINRA investigation. FINRA was investigating Beemer for allegations that he sold private securities offerings (or private placements) without approval from his brokerage firm, Lincoln Investment.
Gregg A. Beemer was a financial advisor and registered representative of Lincoln Investment from June 2012 to November 2014. He worked at a Lincoln Investment branch office in Dayton, Ohio. He is no longer with Lincoln Investment.
Brokerage firms like Lincoln Investment have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies, such as refraining from selling investments and securities that are not approved by the firm. When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
