Snyder. FINRA barred Snyder from the securities industry after he failed to respond to a FINRA investigation. FINRA was investigating Snyder regarding allegations that he settled a customer’s complaint without authorization or notification to his brokerage firm.
Jeffrey Snyder was a financial advisor and registered representative of Rockwell Global Capital from September April 2012 to April 2015. He was also affiliated with Spartan Capital Securities from August 2008 to April 2012 and with Network 1 Financial from March 2015 to September 2015. He worked at a branch office in Danbury, Connecticut. Snyder has been the subject of at least six customer complaints.
Brokerage firms like Rockwell Global Capital have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies. When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
