Ralph Marra, of Eatontown, New Jersey, Suspended by FINRA
Have you lost money with financial advisor Ralph Marra of Eatontown, New Jersey? We are investigating allegations made by FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, against Ralph B. Marra. FINRA suspended Marra for twenty days and fined him $5,000 regarding allegations that he used discretion in customers’ accounts on 176 transactions without prior written authorization between May 2015 and April 2016. This alleged conduct generally violates FINRA’s rules and the internal policies of his former brokerage firm, National Securities Corp.
Ralph Marra is a financial advisor and registered representative of National Securities Corp. from May 2015 to the present. He worked at a branch office in Eatontown, New Jersey. According to BrokerCheck, Marra has been the subject of at least 5 customer complaints, with four of those complaints being lodged within the last three years.
Brokerage firms like National Securities Corp. have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies. When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
