]]> Former Coastal Equities Advisor Lorraine Gallette Subject of Several Complaints

EL DORADO SPRINGS, MISSOURI

Did you invest in alternative investments with financial advisor Lorraine Gallette in El Dorado Springs, Missouri? The securities and investment fraud law firm of Israels & Neuman is looking into Lorraine Gallette, an advisor formerly with Coastal Equities and Moloney Securities.

Gallette and Coastal Equities have been the subject of five customer complaints since August 2020. Each of the complaints makes allegations that she sold unsuitable investments in private placements, limited partnerships, and real estate investments. Two of the five cases have already settled.

Lorraine Gallette was licensed with Coastal Equities from July 2013 to January 2021 and with Moloney Securities from January 2021 to April 2022. She worked in El Dorado Springs, Missouri.

When financial advisors recommend investments to their customers, they must make sure the investment is suitable for the customer. A failure to do so would violate FINRA Rule 2111 and could lead to liability for the advisor and/or brokerage firm.

]]> Israels & Neuman, PLC Investigates Scott Jason Lee, Formerly of Moloney Securities COLD SPRING, MINNESOTA – Have you lost money with financial advisor Scott Jason Lee, formerly of Moloney Securities in Cold Spring, Minnesota? We are looking into allegations made against Scott Lee, who has been the subject of a customer complaint, which was made in 2021. The customer alleged that Lee sold them an unsuitable private placement, causing damages of $82,000.

Scott Jason Lee was a registered representative of Moloney Securities from April 2016 to April 2019. He has been with Ausdal Financial Partners from April 2019 to the present. He has worked at branch offices in Cold Spring, Minnesota.

Brokerage firms like Moloney Securities have a responsibility to adequately supervise all representatives who are registered through their firm. Brokerage firms also must take steps to ensure that their financial advisors follow all securities rules and regulations, as well as internal firm policies. When brokerage firms fail to adequately supervise their registered representatives, they may be liable for investment losses sustained by customers.
