WAYZATA, MINNESOTA

Our securities arbitration law firm is reviewing allegations made against Paul Koch, who previously worked with RBC Capital Markets and UBS Financial Services in Wayzata, Minnesota. FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) brought an administrative action against Koch and barred him from the securities industry after he refused to respond to FINRA’s investigation.

FINRA began its investigation after UBS Financial Services filed an amended Form U5 for Koch, alleging that Koch recommended risky and unsuitable investments in various outside business ventures where Koch’s wife was part owner. It was further alleged that Koch’s wife diverted funds from these outside investments for personal use.

Paul Ronald Koch had been affiliated with a number of firms, including RBC Capital Markets from October 2018 to February 2022 and with UBS Financial Services from 2009 to October 2018. Koch worked in offices in Wayzata, Minnesota, and he also ran Koch Financial Services. As of October 2021, Koch is also under investigation by the U.S. Secret Service.
