FINRA investigated Theodore Byrer regarding allegations that he engaged in an unsuitable options trading strategy with a client. It was further alleged that he engaged in discretionary trading without written authorization from the customer to do so.

Theodore William Byrer was licensed with Morgan Stanley from November 2013 to April 2023 and worked in Indianapolis, IN. He was later licensed with International Assets Advisory and American Independent Securities Group. He has also been the subject of three customer complaints, as well as two bankruptcies and was discharged by Morgan Stanley in March 2023.
