Spartan Capital Stockbroker Kieran Marc Loughran Suspended by FINRA

NEW YORK, NY     Have you lost money with advisor Kieran Loughran, formerly with Spartan Capital Securities in New York, New York?  Our investment fraud law firm is reviewing claims made by FINRA against Kieran Loughran.  FINRA suspended this advisor from the securities industry for three months, fined him $5,000, and ordered him to pay $43,495 in restitution.

FINRA’s AWC alleges that Mr. Loughran allegedly excessively traded a customer’s accounts between January 2016 and March 2019.  His trading generated over $43,495 in commissions for himself while generating trading losses of $179,000.  The account had a cost-to-equity ratio of 48%.  This means that the account would need to earn a profit of 48% just to break even from the costs of trading.

From November 2014 to October 2022, Kieran Marc Loughran was a representative of Spartan Capital Securities.  He worked in a New York City office.  He was also the subject of four customer complaints and 12 tax liens or judgments.
