He worked in Norwalk, Connecticut and is also the subject of four customer complaints, including a 2023 complaint alleging unsuitable alternative investments. He also operated J. Davenport Advisors LLC, which also had its investment advisory license yanked.

Liberty Partners Financial Services must reasonably supervise the activities of its representatives. Liberty Partners Financial Services could be liable for Davenport’s conduct if it failed to reasonably supervise him and if he sold unsuitable investments to customers.
