Allegations Against Jack Wolbert

In March 2026, a customer made a complaint against Wolbert, alleging that he sold them an investment in a SAFE promissory note.  The note allegedly failed to pay upon maturity, causing over $800,000 in losses.  That led to a FINRA investigation into the matter.   Wolbert was then allowed to voluntarily resign from Boustead Securities regarding his involvement in the SAFE notes.

Jack Wolbert was licensed with Boustead Securities from June 2023 to July 2026 at an Irvine, California office.  He was also previously licensed with Revere Securities and Fnex Capital.

Can Boustead Securities Be Responsible for Customer Investment Losses?

Under FINRA Rule 3110, broker-dealers like Boustead Securities must reasonably supervise the activity of its advisors.  Boustead Securities could be responsible for investor losses if it failed to reasonably supervise its advisor.
